FAQs

Q?

How is this FreightTracker charged?

A.

FreightTracker is a month to month subscription. You pay for your exact usage in most cases and can cancel at anytime with no cancelation fees.

Q?

Can my clients send their bookings from their own systems?

A.

Yes. We have already integrated with some of the other freight forwarding and transport software. If your clients use a certain program to manage their business and if it is capable our sending out orders, then we can build an interface to receive those orders.

Q?

So it has an accounting package in it?

A.

No. We strongly believe that the black magic of accounting systems needs to stay with the bean counters. We build great transport software – let those guys specialise in great accounting software. However, we integrate with them. MYOB, Quickbooks, Xero and other proprietary systems can all potentially receive our invoice feed.

So Freight Tracker calculates and generates the invoice and then sends it to your accounting package for inclusion in accounts receivable and profit and loss reporting.

Q?

How long does it take to set up?

A.

When you agree to implement Freight Tracker, we provide you with a document to complete, asking for information about your customers, drivers, vehicles, rates and communication requirements. Once we have this document we can usually put together a Freight Tracker system in just a few days.

Q?

Do you integrate with 1-Stop?

A.

Sure do. We can integrate your 1-Stop Commtrac service into Freight Tracker.

Q?

Does FreightTracker handle the invoicing?

A.

Yes it does. You can generate your invoices in FreightTracker and send them via email to the clients. You can view them later and see what jobs they are related to and you can even create credit notes against them. You can also integrate with one of our Payment providers and allow your customers to pay via a button on the invoice.
